Enriching higher education through interdisciplinary partnership

Georgetown University recognizes that creating solutions to today’s exceedingly complex problems requires novel approaches from a multi-faceted perspective. The Georgetown Initiative on Tech and Society is a university-wide collaboration between nine schools that equips the world’s next generation of leaders to navigate complex issues at the intersection of technology, ethics, and governance.

To promote this groundbreaking approach to higher-education, we designed and developed a brand identity — including a logo, color palette and style guide — and website, as well as messaging. We capped off this engagement with a mini-documentary style video series. 

We had six weeks to design and develop the website. This endeavor involved multiple stakeholders, from professors in the Computer Science, Law and Philosophy departments, to Georgetown’s Executive Office. We collaborated extensively with these audiences to develop the mission and vision of Tech & Society, leading group brainstorming exercises that resulted in tangible results. 

Taken together, the videos and website communicates the Initiative’s work in a way that will capture potential funders from across the country.
